Mountain Cabins and Why We Love Them

If you’re anything like me, you spend at least 67% of your time on the Internet looking at the things you want. And what do we all want? Cabins.

The most drool-worthy dwellings must look like they were hand-built, and at the same time feature exorbitant features like granite showers carved to mimic Yosemite Falls, or ginormous pieces of lumber you’d only find in a five star ski lodge. The cabin must be nearly impossible to get to, gets extra points if it’s on a lake, and is especially lovable if it features an A-frame. I’ve done my fair share of ogling photos online, but I also have a bad (read: awesome) habit of using my telephoto to creep on cabins in the wild. Below are my favorite finds.
